Work Experience

2022 - Present

Systems Administrator

This role focuses on proactive monitoring and high-priority incident management for the company's IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include real-time oversight of servers (Windows, Linux, backup) and network performance, as well as leading the response to major outages. The position is crucial for preventing issues through continuous monitoring and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system health and minimize business disruption.

2018 - 2021

IT Support Specialist / Network Administrator

Providing both 1st and 3rd line technical support. Key duties include managing core systems like Exchange and Active Directory, troubleshooting server and desktop issues, maintaining the server room and IT infrastructure, and overseeing the helpdesk function by ensuring calls are logged, assigned, and resolved promptly. The position also involves team management, reporting, and general IT administration tasks.

2016 - 2018

Desktop Support Technician

Responsible for providing comprehensive end-user technical assistance. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software, installing updates, setting up equipment, and performing break/fix support. The role utilizes a ticketing system to manage requests, provides remote and on-site support within a specific region, and is accountable for maintaining systems and meeting service level agreements (SLAs).

3CX Telephony

Designed, deployed, and manage an on-premises VoIP phone system using 3CX on Ubuntu Server. This secure, private solution keeps all call data internal, enhancing security, ensuring compliance, and reducing costs while providing enterprise-grade telephony features.

Self Hosted VPN

Designed and deployed a private VPN server during the Covid-19 pandemic to enable low-latency remote LAN experiences for gaming. The solution successfully recreated local multiplayer functionality for legacy games and continues to serve as a reliable private platform for community connection.

Self Hosted Cloud DNS

Deployed and manage a secure DNS filtering system using AdGuard Home on a cloud server to protect network traffic. It blocks malicious sites, filters ads, and provides network-wide monitoring and threat analytics, significantly improving security and reducing malware risks.

Website Manangement

Volunteer church website manager ensuring a secure, up-to-date, and mission-focused online presence. Handles technical maintenance, content updates, and collaboration with staff to support outreach and community engagement through faithful digital stewardship.

Graphic Designer
